During the groom your dog will be bathed using professional dog shampoos and conditioners suited to their coat type. The coat will then be fully dried before being clipped or scissored to meet breed standards (or your own requirements). Hannah tends to pay particular attention to those areas that other groomers often overlook – those that when wet, muddy or tangled can cause a dog real discomfort. These include around the tummy, inside armpits, around the bottom, behind the ears and in between the paw pads. A standard groom also involves checking and cleaning ears and eyes and cutting nails.
Prices range from £25 to £55 for a standard groom depending on breed, size and coat type. Dogs that are particularly matted or aggressive will incur a surcharge if the groom exceeds the specified duration for that breed.
